A creditable, trusted, and professional executive networking.

The Group's Mission

Our mission is to build stable, long-standing relationships within the group as well as to bring a continuous flow of new invitees based upon credibility, trust and professional experience. Our objective is for these relationships to leverage each member's business umbrella with new resources and through sharing information and with new business referrals -- in a relaxed informal fun environment.

WHY PARTICIPATE

Our networking group reminds us of the moments jazz and  rhythm & blues (R&B) are at their best — when each band member is working collaboratively with the other musicians to bring out the best possible performance. In light of this, R&B is guided by two simple, yet robust, concepts:

First, networking is about people, not about titles or positions. (1) person-to-person connections and (2) that each person coming into a networking event—whether in person or online—has a life history that is distinctive in its needs and opportunities.

Second, the R&B Group believes that networking is about learning what makes each person unique and not merely exchanging business cards.

The R&B approach is to create the atmosphere in which making these connections can happen collaboratively.

Senior Professionals

Our group is for experienced c-level individuals seeking to share vetted professional contacts. Some have found new employment through our group. Others have identified new vendors and suppliers. Others have developed partnerships. Most have identified new business opportunities -- of all types.

Guest Policy

It is simple: Bring a guest others will be eager to meet. We always seek to expand participation. Your "admission ticket" for future attendance is a guest with the same level of experience and credibility. A constant flow of new people keeps the group vibrant - there's always someone new worth getting to know. After initial introductions, the key first question is: "How can I help you?".

Atmosphere

The first half of each gathering is a relaxed, informal cocktail hour, a time for meeting new people, exchanging business cards and taking the first steps to share business contacts. The second half of the evening is a lovely buffet dinner, allowing for more in-depth discussions at each table.

TALENTED NICE PEOPLE.

Whether physically or virtually, our group is about
the human connection.

Due to COVID-19, our physical dinners have moved to virtual meetings. Here's a flavor of the quality of the people and atmosphere of our events.

“I have attended the meetings hosted by Jay Rovert, for over a year now. I find it easy to make new contacts in a very relaxed setting. Attendees have a diverse background and represent a wide range of businesses. I have developed some valuable business contacts that I hope to maintain for a long time. This is a very professional group and you are guaranteed to meet new people at every event you attend.”

“Jay's RnB Group is without question the best networking group I have ever experienced - and I attend a LOT of networking events. His is by far the highest quality, the most productive, the most enjoyable, and the one I bring valued guests to most often. I've been coming to his events for more than five (5) years. I drive up from New York City to attend - sometimes over an hour drive - but it is unquestionably worth it. I have received multiple paying clients as a result of the outstanding connections I've made through the RnB Group. It has been nothing short of fantastic. And, do you know why it works so well? It's because of Jay's intelligence, his strategic leadership, and his judgment in maintaining the superior quality of who attends. I can tell you...that makes all the difference in the world..”

Susan Catalano, Managing Partner of JQLaCorte, LLC

“The R&B networking group has a relaxed mingle-and-meet format followed by a delicious sit-down dinner where you can talk at length to any of the high-caliber attendees from the tristate area. I have met with smart, well-connected, successful business professionals who were a pleasure to meet and get to know, and that have helped to advance my business. The preparation that Jay Rovert puts into every meeting, vetting every guest, explains why each meeting is so fruitful.”

“Jay's networking events are a FANTASTIC opportunity to meet all kinds of interesting and accomplished people. I've been going for a few years (when I can), and each time have made great connections, people in all types of industries, specializations, and roles. It's really nice to meet people in a relaxed atmosphere, learn and share information and ideas, and simply have a good time. I've made relationships that have led to new business, and connections that have become good friends. Bravo Jay! Thank you for making it possible.”

“Jay's events are, by far, the best networking events I have attended. He brings together a great group of people in a comfortable, relaxed setting. I have met many wonderful people- most of them have excelled in their chosen field. Some have become friends and some have become clients but what I enjoy most is both bringing and meeting quality individuals and seeing how I can help connect them- because that is when the magic happens.”
